This clinical research study aims to evaluate an investigational drug in men and women with Alzheimer’s disease (AD). Currently, a limited number of approved treatments help with the symptoms of AD, but do not stop the disease from progressing. By reducing the build-up of ‘tau tangles’ in the brain, the main driver of AD, researchers believe that this investigational drug could help slow disease progression and enhance quality of life for people with AD.
