AbbVie in collaboration with the Global Alzheimer’s Platform have made available a blood test to measure Amyloid plaques.  This blood test will help identify people who might qualify to receive a monoclonal antibody that directs the immune system to remove amyloid plaques from the brain in an upcoming study. 

Who can join the AbbVie Study?

You may be able to take part if you:

– are 55-90 years of age

– have had gradual and progressive memory loss for 6 months

– have a family member or close friend who is with you at least 10 hours per week and can attend study appointments with you
